Anthurium jungle bush
Anthurium is a plant native of tropical areas and belongs to the Araceae family.
This plant has a double interest, because of its aesthetic quality and its purifying properties.
Our tips for taking care of your plants
Your hydroponic Plantophia plant does not need special care, just follow these small indications:
IRRIGATION
The plant is equipped with a small water level indicator. Pour the water until the indicator reaches the OPT level. When the bar drops to the MIN level, leave the plant without water for a few days to let its roots be oxygenated.
LIGHTING
Anthurium loves a bright environment, but it’s better to avoid direct sun.
TEMPERATURE
The ideal temperature has to be around 20° C (the plant must not be exposed to temperatures below 13°C).
CLEANING THE LEAVES
Use a microfiber cloth. Place a leaf on the palm of your hand and gently wipe the cloth over the entire surface.
FERTILIZER
This plant needs to be fertilized every 3 months. Follow the instructions on the fertilizer package for the correct quantity.
PLACE
Choose a place that is sheltered from air currents. It is necessary to pay attention to sudden changes in temperature.
The benefits
According to NASA this is the best plant to eliminate the ammonia emitted by certain household cleaning products and to absorb the xylene.
